The swirling black suffocating me
My slurred sight is of no use to me

The unforeseen, the black surroundings

Inque awoke about a half hour later, still concealed inside the spare shirt Terry had stashed in his backpack. She could feel movement, and reasoned that Batman had given up the search for her.
Thirty minutes prior, Batman had found the hole Inque used to escape into the rain. He got outside and saw several little wisps of Inque being washed away in the rain. Assuming she was gone until she managed to pull herself together as she always does, Batman promptly got in the Batmobile and proceeded back to Wayne Manor.
Inque was awake, but she was very weary and couldn’t move. She remained fused
